3Dトリエル

3Dトリエル (英:3D Toriel)[2]はUNDERTALEのトレーラーやグッズと言ったプロモーションに登場するキャラクターである。

プロフィール

外見

3Dトリエルはトリエルの粗い3Dモデルで、顔、耳、手足は全て球体で構成されている。常に無表情で、Tポーズを取っている。また、目からレーザーを発射することができる。

性格

3DトリエルはたまにUNDERTALEに描かれていない、トリエルらしくない行動をとる。3Dトリエルはほとんどしゃべらず、レーザーを発射する、いつ攻撃されるかわからない敵対的な存在とされている。6th Anniversary Streamでは、攻撃する前に意味不明な言葉をつぶやいているシーンがある。

描写

3DトリエルはUNDERTALE本編には登場しないものの、多くのUNDERTALEにまつわる文脈に登場する。

発売アナウンストレーラー

3Dトリエルは、2015年9月8日の発売アナウンストレーラーで初めて登場した[3]。その中のとあるシーンで、3Dトリエルが白いブロックに体当たりし、リアルなヤギと「ひどい子…　わたしの　こころは　ズタズタよ」というテキストが添えられ、下には「※実際のゲーム画面ではない可能性があります」という注意書きがされていた。このシーンは2017年6月13日のPlayStation 4およびPlayStation Vitaの発表アナウンストレーラーでも使用された。この時使用された「ビューティ」というフレームは、ハードモードをクリアすると入手できた[4]。

3Dトリエルのシーンは、2018年9月17日のNintendo Switchの発売記念トレーラーで置き換えられた[5]。このシーンではぷんすかみゅうみゅうが、レーザーを打つ3Dトリエルから逃げる様子が描かれ、添えられたテキストには「ひどい子…　あなたの　こころを　ズタズタに　してあげるわ」と、注意書きとして「トビー！　この映像　どこで　拾ってきたの？？？」というテキストがあった、

3Dトリエルは2021年3月15日のXbox Oneの発売記念トレーラーでも短く登場し[6]、その場で回転する3Dトリエルとそれのワイヤーフレームコピーが映っていた。画面下部には「トリエルのパフォーマンスを極限まで向上！」と書かれていた。

記念配信イベント

3D Toriel makes an appearance in the Undertale 6th Anniversary Stream.[7] Here, she walks into the room, speaks gibberish, and shoots lasers at the stream's hosts before the stream pauses.

3D Toriel makes another appearance in the Undertale 10th Anniversary Stream.[8] Noticing that she is a piñata, Reid Young brandishes a bat and swings at her, despite the other stream hosts' insistence that he do not. As he hits her, the screen cuts to a hybrid mashup of the 3D Toriel scenes in the Undertale trailers before cutting back to the set. The camera focuses on 3D Toriel staring at the screen before cutting to black.

UNDERTALE Art Book

Toriel's 3D figure also appears in the UNDERTALE Art Book, with a description stating that Toby Fox created it for an "extremely realistic, emotional scene". The scene had to be cut because "it looked so good, it made the rest of the game look terrible" and replaced with Onionsan.[9]

Merchandise

On April 1, 2026, Fangamer revealed a keychain of 3D Toriel, designed by Melora Mylin.

Creation and development

3D Toriel was designed by a "professional artist" (labeled as "Laura MW, Adil Mohyuddin" in the UNDERTALE Art Book[10]) and later rendered into 3D by Chelsea Saunders.[9]

    Sadly, the scene had to be cut because it was so good, it made the rest of the game look terrible. So I took the opposite approach and replaced it with Onionsan. And that’s why anyone likes UNDERTALE.
